The Challenge
A rapidly scaling enterprise faced massive operational friction and communication gaps between its key departments. Standard procedures, purchase approvals, task assignments, and expense claims were managed through disorganized email threads and messaging groups. This lack of centralized structure created delay loops, audit trail issues, and left managers in the dark about team bandwidth, workflow blockages, and operational department metrics.
The Solution
Engineered a robust, role-based workflow automation and task engine that acts as the company's operational backbone. Built a custom workflow state machine that routes purchase requests and expense approvals to appropriate hierarchical managers based on department permissions. Developed data-dense Kanban task managers, department-wise real-time performance analytics, an instant notification system, and an automated audit logger that logs all user approvals, updates, and actions.

Next.js with TypeScript, REST API with role middleware, PostgreSQL with Prisma, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and Vercel for staging and production deployments.
